What is a star?
All stars are made out of clouds of gas and dust called the Nebulae. Most stars are made of hydrogen gas fusing to form Helium Gas. A star emits light enabling to be seen, it also produces heat. A star get's cooler as it gets older because it runs out of fuel.

Nebula
Nebula's are clouds of dust and gas.
It has no noticeable shape.
There are 5 types of Nebula's: Reflection, emission, planetary, supernova and Dark.
When it reaches 1 000 000˚C fusion happens.
Each type of Nebula is represented by a different kind of colour.

Protostar
Wen cloud of gas and dust is pulled together by gravity it form Protostar.
Protostar “light up” due to heat /pressure.
When heat increases to 15 000 000C fusion reaction take place.
A Protostar is an early star however it still takes 100 000 years to form.

Main Sequence
This is the main stage of the a star.
This is the stage in a star's life when the hydrogen gas fuses+ throws out energy as heat + light.
This stage can last millions of years.
There are 2 pathways from Main Sequence.

Red Giants and Super Giants
Slowly as the star runs out of fuel the outer core blows up into a red ball much larger in appearance than the original star size.
It has a diameter 10 hundredths.
It is 1 000 000 times brighter than the sun.
Red giant swells and becomes a Supernovas.

Super Nova
Super Nova is the death of a star and the beginning of new stars.
Super Nova occurs if it runs out of iron, hydrogen, and helium.
When it happens it can out shine a galaxy.

White Dwarf
White Dwarf are highly packed carbon.
It can reach the temperature of 200 000 ˚C.
As time pass the energy will be consumed and it will turn into a Black Dwarf.

Black Holes
Black Holes are heavy and dense that everything is sucked including light.
A Black hole is not visible.
However we know they are there because of how things around them react.
