Telescopes
What is a Telescope
A telescope is an object that magnifies or make an object seem closer. Telescopes are usually equipped with a glass lens, the glass piece can be changed depending on how far the object is. There are also different type of telescopes differing on what type of electromagnetic spectrum want to be seen.
Types of telescopes:
*Radio Telescopes
*Infra-Red Telescopes
*Optical Telescopes
*Ultraviolet Telescopes
*X-ray Telescopes
*Gamma ray telescopes

Radio Telescopes
Radio telescopes are large dish like objects, there is usually more than 10 of them at one place.
This type of telescope collects long radio wave.
It can be used in Earth however the Earths atmosphere makes the images blurry.

Infra-red Telescopes
The infra-red telescopes are usually place on top of mountains to reduce the blurriness.
This telescopes detects energy emitted by cooler objects.
This can detect galaxies away from us.
Nebula produces infra-red lights.

Optical Telescopes
The optical telescopes are just ordinary telescopes.
This can be used to look out to space, stars, suns and other galaxies.
This can also be placed to space and used to look down to earth.

Ultraviolet Telescopes
The earth's atmosphere protects us to a certain amount of ultraviolet light.
It has solar panels like object attached to it.
Therefore this telescope needs to be launched up the space.
The sun, stars and galaxies produces ultraviolet light, therefore detected by the telescope.

X-ray Telescopes
X-ray are massive pieces of machinery that is placed in space, the reason for this is also because of the atmosphere.
Dwarf stars, moons and galaxy clusters emits x-ray.

Gamma Ray Telescope
Gamma ray telescopes are place furthest away from the earths atmosphere.
It detects high frequency waves and high energy.
Super Nova, black holes and neutron stars produces gamma rays.
